لامبورغيني تتطلع نحو برنامج سباق لومان بعد إطلاق أوروس

Ferruccio Lamborghini was not much interested in racing. In contrast to his famous rival, for him everything was about road cars. But Lamborghini today is a completely different company.

The raging bull sign is now headed by Stefano Domenicali, former head of Scuderia Ferrari. It runs its own series of racing cars - four of them worldwide actually - and the HORACAN GT3 delivers to customer teams to compete in chains around the world. But while the return to the Grand Prix may not be taken into account for this stage, it seems that Domenicali has other great sports plans for the Lamborghini.

The raging bull sign is now headed by Stefano Domenicali, former head of Scuderia Ferrari. But while the return to the Grand Prix may not be taken into account for this stage, it seems that Domenicali has other great sports plans for the Lamborghini.

There are rumors that an Italian automaker may be jumping into the GTE category of sports car racing - or formerly known as the GT2, which is part of the Emza and Sportscars, the FIA Championship and, most importantly, the 24-ounce Le Mans.

Huracan will again be the foundation, but you will need a major upgrade of the GT3 / Daytona specifications to keep up with the GTE / Le Mans range. While many Volkswagen brands currently offer GT3 (FLH in Bentley Continental GT3 and Audi R8 LMS), Porsche is currently competing in the GTE with the RSR 911.

The potential HORACANE GTE has competed in similar versions of the Aston Martin Vantage, Ford GT, Corvette C7R, and perhaps the most important Ferrari 488.

While the plans may be on the table at St. Agata, the focus at present is firmly fixed on the launch of Uros. "As you know, from Lamborghini's point of view today, the biggest priority is to invest in the launch of the new SUV," says Domenici.

"We certainly want to invest in the GT3 platform today, because it is very strong and as you see the number of customers and the number of teams that are part of our family is also increasing, so this is very positive for us."

However, it is still too early to say "we will not be surprised to see Lamborghini launch the GT program when Uros appears and starts walking," Domenicali said.
